ending GLOBAL poverty....
what would you say if.... eye told you that eye am here to END global poverty....
sounds good.... right.... but.... you are wondering.... HOW.... do eye plan on ending global poverty....
so.... here is how eye intend on accomplishing this.... eye plan on REPLACING the welfare state in each country.... with a country dividend....
most welfare states are.... inneffective.... costly.... and.... labor intensive....
for example.... in the united states.... the welfare state costs approximately one trillion dollars to operate.... it unnecessarily employess hundreds of thousands of federal workers.... based on my best estimate.... over three hundred thousand people are currently working to end poverty in the united states.... and.... the poverty rate is STILL over ten percent.... despite YOUR best efforts.... or.... as eye like to say.... worst efforts....
sometimes eye question whether governments ACTUALLY want to end poverty.... because.... if they end it.... we might not need them.... to take care of us anymore....
if you REPLACE the welfare state.... and.... social security.... in the united states..... with a country dividend.... of.... approximately fifteen thousand dollars per year for ALL individuals over the age of eighteen.... again.... based on my best estimate.... this would cost approximately three trillion dollars per year to implement.... only require approximately twenty five people to operate.... and.... put an END to poverty once and for all in the united states....
